Mike Penkin named Captain to 2007 Alfred University Football Team
Full Description:
Alfred University celebrated the 2006 season at todays football banquet held in McLane Center. The Saxons were 8-3 for the season. The 2007 Captains were announced at the banquet following a week of voting by the team members. Mike Penkin (Greece Athena, 2004) was named as one of the four captains. He also received the Team's Saxon Club Award and was named to the Empire 8 All Conference Second Team Defense in November 2006.
